Need Some Smoothie Inspiration? Here Are 8 Fun and Fresh Recipes

A smoothie a day keeps the doctor away! Okay, that isn’t official but we might as well live by it. After all, why settle for just an apple when you can get more goodies in one drink? When done right, smoothies are an excellent source of energy-boosting, immune-strengthening vitamins and minerals. It’s refreshing, it contains good carbs, and it’s loaded with health benefits.


However, if you feel like preparing a smoothie has become a dull morning task, don’t sulk. We have some ways to make smoothie-making fun and colorful again, perfect with our green superfood powder! Whether it’s starting the day or taking a mid-day mood-lifter, here are some easy yet nutritious smoothie recipes that don’t skimp on that flavorful, oooh factor.

Raspberry Hemp Milk Smoothie

Total Prep Time: 10 minutes

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup hemp seeds (or almonds or cashews)
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups raspberries
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 tsp of pHresh greens®

Directions:

  1. In a powerful blender, blend the water and hemp seeds for one minute, until completely smooth with no lumpy hemp seeds. This is the ‘milk’ base.
  2. Add the ice, raspberries, honey, and the green drink powder, and blend for another minute until smooth. Serve and drink.

Tip:

Freeze the raspberries for an even more chilled smoothie!

Citrus Dream

Serves: 40 oz

Ingredients:

  • 2 grapefruits, peeled
  • 2 blood oranges, peeled (you can substitute regular oranges or tangerines if you can’t find blood oranges)
  • 7 carrots
  • 1 handful of parsley
  • 1 head of romaine lettuce
  • 1 inch knob of ginger
  • 1 tsp of pHresh greens®


Directions:

Simply run all ingredients through a juicer and enjoy!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Weight Loss Smoothie

Total time: 2 mins

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 tbs cacao powder
  • 1 tbs chia seeds
  • 2 tbs almond butter
  • powder from 3 caps of probiotics (simply twist open and empty powder)
  • 2 dropperfuls vanilla stevia to taste
  • 1 tsp of pHresh greens®

Directions:

  1. Simply blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth.
  2. Add more almond milk if needed.

Skin Rejuvenator Juice Recipe

Serves: 2 (or 6oz)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 4 sprigs mint
  • ½ fennel bulb with greens
  • 2 stalks kale
  • 2 small green apples
  • 1 cup broccoli
  • 1 handful watercress
  • 1 small cucumber
  • 1 lemon, peeled
  • 2 tsp of pHresh greens®

Directions:

Run all ingredients through a juicer and enjoy!

Sunshine State of Mind Juice Recipe

Serves: 1-2

Ingredients

  • 2 pink grapefruits, peeled
  • 3 blood oranges, peeled
  • 2 honey tangerines, peeled
  • 1 tsp of pHresh greens

Directions:

Run all ingredients through a juicer and that’s it!

Tip:

Peel your citrus before juicing as the essential oils in the peels can make the juice taste bitter. You can include the skin if you like as there are great health benefits but just know that the flavor will definitely change.

The Great Cleanser Green Juice

Ingredients:

  • 4 green apples
  • 2 heads romaine lettuce
  • 2 inch knob of ginger
  • 1 large lemon, skin removed
  • 1 tsp of pHresh greens®

Directions:

Just run all ingredients through a juicer and enjoy!

Orange Banana Mango Smoothie

Orange Banana Mango SmoothieTotal time: 10 minutes

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup orange juice (4-5 oranges juiced)
  • 1/2 cup banana
  • 1/2 cup mango
  • 1 tsp pHresh greens®

Directions:

Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

Tips:

  1. Add 1/2 cup of ice if you want a cooler, thicker smoothie.
  2. Freeze the banana and mango for a cooler smoothie.

Banana Strawberry Cacao Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 tsp pHresh greens®
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1.5 cups almond milk
  • 2 tbs cacao powder
  • 1 tbs chia seeds
  • 1 tbs colostrum powder
  • 2 tsps hemp seeds
  • 1/2 tsp maca powder
  • 1/2 tsp lucuma
  • 1 dropperful cocoa extract
  • 2 dropperfuls vanilla stevia to taste
